If vomiting occurs, the dose will be effective. veterinarians suggest, you attempt to re dose the dog, and repeat the same process. Although extremely rare, if vomiting does again occur, discontinue use of Comfortis.Other adverse reactions reported in decreasing order of frequency are: depression/lethargy, decreased appetite, in coordination, diarrhea, itching, trembling, excessive salivation and seizures.
Following higher dose usage of ivermectin (Heart Guard) with Comfortis, some dogs have experienced the following clinical signs: trembling/twitching, salivation/drooling, seizures, incoordination, excessive dilation of pupils, blindness and disorientation.
If your dog is currently on higher doses of ivermectin (Heart Guard), it is recommended you do not use Comforts for your flea control needs.
